Loved loved loved documenting Kristin + Jason’s wedding at the Missouri History Museum (first time shooting there).
BTW, best first look EVAR. True emotions can really make a beautiful and powerful moment.
Elvis has left the building…
What a way to end the 2018 wedding season! Henok and I were co-workers but continued to stay in touch after he had moved on. He’s always been such a great supporter of my work for the last several years when I started this crazy venture. Originally, Chrissy and Henok were planning on using the local wedding photographer that would be supplied to them but opted to reach out to us see if we were available to spend a few days with them in Destin, Florida to document their wedding. We chatted about their wedding details and their vision over a warm bowl of delicious ramen noodles. :) After Ali and I decided not haul the family out there, I nabbed Ray to come and second shoot for me over the course of a long weekend (I may or may not have tried to convince Ray to wear a blonde wig with pink highlights so he could a least look like Ali). The Florida weather didn’t always cooperate (note: we’ve shot 4 weddings in Florida and it’s rained every. single. time.) but it was glorious on the wedding day so honestly, what move can you ask for?! Chrissy and Henok provided us everything we could have asked for from a client… time for portraits, input on the wedding timeline while listening to our recommendations, they were open to all our ideas, welcomed us to all their friends and family members and the best of all they treated us like friends and not vendors. For that, we are truly appreciative and their wedding weekend will always have a special place in our memories…
Congrats Christina and Henok!
