First and foremost – HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRITTANY! Today IS her birthday and it was the driving force for me to get these images up in time as a special b-day gift to her. :)
This was another wedding full of ‘firsts’ for me… this was the first time shooting at the Provincial Chapel which has a ton of character with all the beautiful natural light coming into the building. As well, it was the first time we’ve shot at the Randal Gallery in downtown St. Louis. The place is completely decked out with super cool and trendy art. Lastly, this was the first time documenting a non-Caucasian wedding… you would think being Asian and all, I would have done a Chinese wedding by now…right? Nope. :( I did a half Chinese/Caucasian last year and came close to signing an Indian wedding once… but that’s it. I grew up in Montreal which was a huge melting pot of people, races and cultures so I love the opportunity to document something different and new. *hint! hint!* Maybe that’s why we enjoyed ourselves so much at Brittany and Kevin’s wedding. It was definitely a day full of emotions and love. And the reception! O M G. It was completely off the hook! I think EVERYONE was on the dance floor rockin’ out… including us (see allll the way down for images… please don’t judge us).
Special thanks to the wedding party who were absolutely awesome to work with. The amount of swagger was overflowing and just wicked document. :)
Also, thanks to Mr. Mark Arnold who came into town from Dallas, TX to help me second shoot a couple weddings during the Memorial Day weekend. This marks the 2nd time we’ve killed a wedding together and I’m sure it won’t be the last ;) Thanks dude… you rock.
Lastly, thanks to Brittany and Kevin… it feels like forever ago when we met up for the first time to talk about your wedding. I’m super happy you gave me the opportunity! *hugs*

OK… now for some Behind the Scene images… :)
Mark Arnold rockin’ out with some of the groomsmen on the dance floor.
It was hard NOT to dance with the wicked R&B tunes they were playing at the reception. We got sucked into dancing…
Aaaaaaaaaand this is why I’m not allowed to dance… in public. :)
Brittany and Kevin’s wedding party’s reaction. :D
