As a photographer, picking your favorite session is like picking your favorite child. That said, I’m not saying that this one is my favorite engagement session but it’s really really good at school and is going to be a doctor one day.
Originally, we were going to do their engagement session at the Arch or Forest Park… thank our lucky stars that we didn’t. Don’t get me wrong… the Arch and Forest Park are great locations which is why they tend to be highly popular choices when it comes to portrait photography. Which means these locations are VERY common and you have to deal with a ton of other families, tourists, couples trying to get their pictures done there too. With the Cubs vs Cards game in town and the Taste of St. Louis happening downtown, we opted to go with another location in Chesterfield. I think it worked out well. :)
Lisa and Mark are getting married next year at the St. Louis Marriott West and I can’t wait to capture their special day (it’s a jewish wedding… mazel tov!). We had a complete blast doing this session and they were completely open to doing anything (including getting their boots dirty for a reflection shot :)). I think you can see from the images I captured that they are absolutely completely in love with each other and can’t wait to tie the knot. Patience guys! July is just around the corner… ;)
